Job Purpose

To lead and strengthen the University’s Outreach, Industry Engagement, and Campus Experience ecosystem by driving strategic collaborations, student engagement initiatives, industry partnerships, institutional branding, experiential learning opportunities, stakeholder engagement, and campus culture development to enhance the overall student journey and institutional reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for planning and executing outreach, industry engagement, and campus experience strategies aligned with the University’s vision and objectives.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with industries, corporates, startups, professional bodies, institutions, and external stakeholders.
  3. Lead initiatives for industry collaborations, MoUs, partnerships, internships, live projects, and experiential learning opportunities.
  4. Coordinate with academic departments for integration of industry-oriented activities, skill enhancement programs, and collaborative initiatives.
  5. Plan and execute student engagement activities, campus events, leadership programs, cultural initiatives, and experiential learning campaigns.
  6. Strengthen institutional outreach through seminars, conferences, exhibitions, industry conclaves, networking forums, and promotional initiatives.
  7. Coordinate with Training & Placement, Admissions, International Affairs, Innovation, and Student Affairs teams for collaborative activities.
  8. Promote the University’s academic achievements, innovation ecosystem, infrastructure, rankings, student success stories, and institutional strengths.
  9. Develop strategies to enhance campus life, student participation, inclusivity, and overall student satisfaction.
  10. Organize industry visits, guest lectures, expert sessions, conclaves, hackathons, competitions, and leadership interaction programs.
  11. Coordinate with branding and marketing teams for outreach campaigns, digital promotions, and institutional visibility initiatives.
  12. Build alumni, industry mentor, and corporate engagement networks for student development and institutional growth.
  13. Monitor and enhance campus engagement through clubs, student communities, innovation activities, and leadership forums.
  14. Conduct market research, industry analysis, and stakeholder feedback collection for strategic improvement initiatives.
  15. Maintain outreach records, collaboration databases, event MIS, partnership reports, and engagement analytics.
  16. Ensure smooth execution of high-impact campus events, conferences, and institutional engagement activities.
  17. Guide and mentor teams involved in outreach, event execution, student engagement, and industry coordination activities.
  18. Develop initiatives to improve employer engagement and industry participation in academic and co-curricular activities.
  19. Ensure effective communication and relationship management with students, parents, alumni, industries, and institutional partners.
  20. Perform any other duties assigned by the University Management in the interest of the institution.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Master’s Degree in Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Education, Business Administration, Communication, or related discipline from a recognized university.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with certifications or experience in Industry Relations, Event Management, Campus Engagement, or Institutional Outreach.

KPI (Key Performance Indicators – Quantifiable)

  1. Achieve assigned annual outreach, industry engagement and campus experience targets.

       Industry conclaves, seminars, or networking events annually

  • Increase student participation and engagement ratio year-on-year.
  • Ensure timely submission of Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly MIS reports, partnership dashboards, and event analytics.
  • Achieve minimum stakeholder/student/industry satisfaction feedback score as defined by the Management.

 

Nice to have

  • 8–15 years of relevant experience in Outreach, Industry Relations, Campus Engagement, Student Affairs, Institutional Branding, Business Development, or Higher Education Administration.
  • Experience in Universities / Higher Education Institutions preferred.
