About the Role

Ganpat University is inviting applications from dynamic, result-oriented, and industry-focused professionals for the position of Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Placements. The role is responsible for strengthening the University’s placement ecosystem through corporate networking, student engagement, placement operations, industry collaboration, and strategic coordination with constituent institutes to achieve quality placement outcomes at regional, national, and international levels.
The selected candidate will contribute significantly towards employer engagement, placement process management, student employability enhancement, data management, and accreditation support activities of the University.

Qualification & Eligibility

Educational Qualification
• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is mandatory. 
• MBA / Master’s Degree in Management, Administration, Human Resource Management, Marketing, or related field will be preferred. 
Preferred Certifications
• Certification in Training & Placement, Career Counseling, Talent Acquisition, Corporate Relations, HR Management, or Higher Education Administration will be an added advantage. 
Experience
• 5 – 10 years of relevant experience in Training & Placement, Corporate Relations, Career Services, Recruitment, Business Development, or Higher Education Administration.

Roles & Responsibilities (R&R)

1. Manage and coordinate the overall administrative and operational activities of the Placement Cell with the objective of securing quality placement opportunities for students at reputed regional, national, and international organizations. 
2.Support the preparation and updating of placement brochures, corporate communication materials, and placement presentations in coordination with constituent institutes. 
3. Develop, maintain, and regularly update a comprehensive database of industries, recruiters, alumni, and corporate stakeholders for placement and engagement activities. 
4. Coordinate and manage professional hospitality arrangements for recruiters, industry experts, and corporate delegates visiting the University for placement-related activities. 
5. Build and maintain strong rapport with industries, corporates, startups, and external stakeholders to strengthen the University’s placement ecosystem. 
6. Maintain accurate and updated records of student profiles, academic details, employability data, and placement status across all programs. 
7. Contribute towards improving placement performance and enhancing the University’s standing on global and national placement parameters. 
8. Organize career guidance sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews, expert talks, and interaction sessions between students and industry professionals. 
9. Ensure timely maintenance, accessibility, and accuracy of placement-related data, reports, and documentation. 
10. Analyze placement statistics regularly and recommend strategic action plans to improve placement outcomes and industry engagement. 
11. Develop industry connectivity and partnerships for internships, live projects, industrial training, research collaboration, and academic excellence initiatives. 
12. Support pre-placement and post-placement activities with professional coordination, documentation, and data recording processes. 
13. Work closely with Principals, Placement Coordinators, and faculty members of constituent institutes to achieve placement targets effectively. 
14. Promote international career pathways in emerging sectors.
15. Coordinate with embassies and international trade organizations for opportunities.
16. Assist students with international documentation and compliance.
17. Support students with visa guidance and onboarding formalities.
18. Coordinate with Heads of Institutes/Departments to ensure smooth planning and execution of placement activities across the University. 
19. Prepare and submit monthly statistical reports, placement analytics, and performance summaries to University authorities.
20. Compile testimonials, feedback, and success stories from recruiters, students, alumni, and stakeholders for newsletters, branding, and University publications. 
21. Prepare official notes, proposals, submissions, approvals, and documentation related to placement initiatives and recruitment activities. 
22. Support submission of placement and student progression data for NAAC, NBA, NIRF, AISHE, and other accreditation/statutory requirements. 
23. Plan and execute industry visits, outreach meetings, and corporate engagement activities with optimum utilization of resources, time, and operational efficiency.

• Strong corporate networking and industry relationship management abilities. 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. 
• Ability to work in a target-driven and dynamic environment. 
• Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills. 
• Experience in universities, educational institutions, or corporate recruitment environments will be preferred. 
• Willingness to travel for industry visits, outreach activities, and recruiter engagement programs.
